Name versus label

Does Memo Honey contain honey? Read the panel, not the name

Quick answer

Does Memo Honey contain honey? Its label lists none: not in the seven Supplement Facts rows, and not in the three other ingredients. The name is a brand name, and the logo only draws a honeycomb. If bee products matter for an allergy or diet, read your own bottle.

Does Memo Honey contain honey?

Does Memo Honey contain honey? No: the label lists no honey, no bee product and no sweetener.

The panel has seven rows: niacin, calcium, two forms of arginine, two forms of citrulline and beta alanine. Under it come hypromellose, vegetable stearate and silicon dioxide (MemoHoney label). That is ten items, and none is honey.

A supplement must list its ingredients, so a missing item is not hidden in a footnote (FDA supplement labeling guide).

Why is it called MemoHoney if there is no honey?

It is called MemoHoney because that is the brand name, and a brand name does not have to describe the contents.

The front shows the word in dark serif letters with the "Honey" half in gold, beside a hexagon logo holding a brain drawn half in line and half in honeycomb. Those are design choices. They are not ingredients. Compare the name with the panel:

How do you check any supplement for what it really holds?

Check any supplement by reading the Supplement Facts panel and the other-ingredients line, and ignore the front of the bottle.

The checklist shows what this label prints and what it does not.

Is the honey in the name a reason for caution?

The honey in the name is not a reason for caution by itself, and it is not proof of anything either way.

The BBB has warned about deepfake videos pushing a honey-based Alzheimer's remedy, and the Alzheimer's Association endorses no honey or supplement (NBC Chicago, honey Alzheimer deepfakes). Nothing in that warning ties MemoHoney to those ads. Honey-named products have also appeared on FDA notices about other items (FDA tainted sexual products). This panel lists no honey, and we are not saying MemoHoney is on any such list.

Memory problems that are new, getting worse or getting in the way of daily life need a clinician. Keep taking prescribed medicine; chest pain, fainting or trouble breathing means 911. See the honey guide for more.

FAQ

MemoHoney questions people ask

Does Memo Honey have honey in it for flavor?

No honey or sweetener is listed on the label. The capsule is a hypromellose shell with powder inside. If you have a bee product allergy, read the panel on your bottle and ask the distributor about anything unclear.

Is MemoHoney safe for people with a honey allergy?

We cannot say it is safe for any allergy. The label lists no honey, but it does not print an allergen statement. Ask your doctor or the distributor before use, especially if you react to bee products.

Is MemoHoney vegan?

The label does not say. The shell is called a vegetable capsule and no honey is listed, but it prints no vegan certification. Ask the distributor if a strict diet applies to you.
