Is Memo Honey safe for you? Eight questions to answer first

Quick answer

Is Memo Honey safe depends on your medicines and health, not on the bottle alone. The capsule holds 400 mg of arginine, and arginine can lower blood pressure too far with nitrates, sildenafil-type medicines and blood pressure medicines. It is not advised after a recent heart attack. Ask a pharmacist or doctor before you start.

Is Memo Honey safe to take?

Is Memo Honey safe to take? For some adults it may be, and for others it is not, so the answer starts with your medicine list.

The label says to consult a physician if you are pregnant, nursing, under 18 or have a known medical condition (MemoHoney label). The FDA does not approve supplements for safety before sale, and problems arise when people combine supplements with medicines (FDA 101 supplements). We found no safety trial of this exact capsule.

Which medicines and conditions clash with MemoHoney?

Nitrates, sildenafil-type medicines, blood pressure medicines, blood thinners and diabetes medicines are the main clashes, because of the arginine rows.

Not without asking first. Arginine can lower blood pressure too far when added to blood pressure medicines, nitrates or sildenafil-type medicines. Show the Supplement Facts panel to your pharmacist or doctor, and do not change any dose on your own.

No trial tracked this capsule. Sources list stomach upset, bloating and diarrhea for arginine, and tingling for beta alanine at larger doses. Dizziness on standing is the sign to take seriously. Stop and call a clinician.
