Worth it?

Is MemoHoney worth it? Weighing the amounts, the price and the free alternatives

Quick answer

Is MemoHoney worth it? That depends on what you expect, and no study shows the capsule helps memory. One capsule holds 400 mg of arginine, about 6% of the 6,400 mg used in the one memory pilot. The price is shown at checkout, so weigh it against sleep, movement and food steps that cost less.

The weighing

Is MemoHoney worth the money?

MemoHoney is worth the money only if you are comfortable paying for an unproven capsule, because no study tested it and the label amounts are small next to studied doses.

This site prints no price, since the checkout shows the live figure. You can do the math yourself: total at checkout divided by days. A bottle is 30 capsules, so one a day lasts 30 days, and the 2, 3 and 6 bottle packs last 60, 90 and 180 days (MemoHoney label).

As for "is memo honey any good", good has not been measured for this product.

Amounts

How do the label amounts compare with studied doses?

The label amounts are a small fraction of the doses used in studies, from about 6% for arginine in the memory pilot to a few percent for beta alanine.

  • Studies: 6.4 g a day in one memory pilot; up to 30 g a day for 90 days in a safety trial. Studies used about 16 to 75 times the label amount. (Teotia 2026, oral arginine pilot) (McNeal 2018, arginine 30 g safety)

  • L-Citrulline (HCl + malate)200 mg on the label

Studies: 3 to 9 g a day in exercise and blood pressure trials; no memory trial found. Studies used about 15 to 45 times the label amount. (Chen 2016, BCAA arginine citrulline) (Trexler 2019, citrulline meta)

  • Beta Alanine40 mg on the label

Studies: 1.6 to 6.4 g a day; ISSN says 4 to 6 g a day; no cognitive change in the one test found. Studies used about 40 to 160 times the label amount. (Hoffman 2014, beta-alanine soldiers) (ISSN beta-alanine stand)

  • Niacin7.5 mg on the label

Reference: 16 mg NE is the Daily Value; 35 mg a day is the upper limit for supplements. The label is 47% of the Daily Value and 21% of the upper limit for supplements. (NIH ODS, Niacin)

  • Calcium18 mg on the label

Reference: adults need about 1,000 mg a day from all sources; the cognition trial used 1,000 mg with vitamin D. The label is about 2% of what an adult man needs in a day. (NIH ODS, Calcium) (Rossom 2012, WHI calcium + D)

Log scale: each gridline is ten times the one before. Studied ranges are daily amounts from the trials linked on each row; the arginine row compares the label's 400 mg (200 mg base plus 200 mg of an AKG extract) with arginine studies, and the citrulline row 200 mg (two forms) with citrulline studies. Niacin and calcium rows show reference levels, not study doses. A bar being far away does not mean the capsule is unsafe or useless; it means the study results cannot be borrowed for it.

Label amount per capsule and the dose studied
RowLabelStudied
Arginine (two rows)400 mg6,400 mg a day in the memory pilot (Teotia 2026, oral arginine pilot)
Citrulline (two rows)200 mg3 to 9 g in exercise trials (NIH ODS, exercise supplements)

Alternatives

Which cheaper steps does the evidence favor over a capsule?

Sleep, regular movement and a doctor visit for treatable causes have better backing than any supplement, and most cost little or nothing.

The NIA recommends no supplement for memory (NIA, Cognitive health and older adults). Memory problems that are new, getting worse or getting in the way of daily life need a clinician.

Cost beyond money

What are the non-price costs of taking MemoHoney?

The non-price costs are possible interactions and stomach upset, which matter more if you take other medicine.

Arginine can drop blood pressure too far with nitrates, sildenafil-type medicines and blood pressure medicines (Mayo Clinic, L-arginine). Ask your doctor or pharmacist first. Keep taking prescribed medicine; chest pain, fainting or trouble breathing: 911.

Decide

When might MemoHoney still be worth trying?

It might be worth trying for an adult with a clear label-reading habit, no interacting medicine, a clinician's okay and a fair view that it may do nothing.

FAQ

MemoHoney questions people ask

Is memo honey any good for memory?

That has not been measured. No trial tested the capsule, and its amounts are small beside the doses studied. The label says only "ADVANCED MEMORY SUPPORT*" with the FDA star, which means the claim has not been evaluated by the FDA.

How do I work out the cost per day?

Take the total shown at checkout and divide by the days the pack covers: 60, 90 or 180 days at one capsule a day for 2, 3 or 6 bottles. Add any shipping shown at checkout before dividing.

What if I try it and see no change?

Use the money-back terms if you are inside the window. The seller's brief gives 60 days from purchase; confirm at checkout. Talk to a clinician if memory worries continue.
